Benjamin Lee Gordon was born in London to North American parents and raised in the countryside near the small town of Mijas, Andalusia.
Having survived adolescence in the cultural maelstrom of the Costa del Sol, he chose to simplify things by attending Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts, with the intention of pursuing a career in Biology. Soon distracted by the visual arts, his original career choice lasted little more than a week. He ended up majoring in Film and Photography.
Following graduation he returned to Malaga to immerse himself in the Spanish culture he was deprived of in the expat community of his childhood.
Having fully come to terms with being from everywhere and nowhere at the same time, he currently lives and works in Barcelona. |
